My journey began with a suitcase, a prayer, and a promise.

I didn’t arrive with wealth. I arrived with responsibility.

Long before I became an Independent Insurance Broker with Greatway Financial Inc., I was a domestic helper in Hong Kong—waking before sunrise, finishing long after dark, and whispering prayers in the quiet moments in between. Every dollar I earned carried a purpose. Every sacrifice had a name: my children.

Those years did not break me. They built me.

They taught me discipline when I was exhausted.

Humility when I was overlooked.

Courage when the future felt uncertain.

And above all, faith when all I could see was the next step.

Family was never just my reason. It was my compass.

When I moved to Canada, I didn’t just bring experience. I brought a mission.

I knew what it felt like to start from nothing. To send money home and hope it was enough. To dream bigger than your current reality. And I knew that if I could survive seasons of uncertainty, I could help others build stability.

That is why I chose this path.

Today, I don’t just sell insurance.

*I help families protect what they worked so hard to build.

*I help parents create certainty in uncertain times.

*I help newcomers understand money, build credit, grow wealth, and leave a legacy.

Because financial literacy is not common knowledge in many of our communities—but it changes everything.

Every policy I design represents more than coverage. It represents dignity.

Security.

Opportunity.

Peace of mind.

And for me, this work is deeply personal.

Beyond business, I am grateful to serve the Filipino community in Kitchener-Waterloo through Filipino Canadian Association of Kitchener-Waterloo. Leadership, to me, is not about titles. It is about service. It is about showing up, standing in the gap, and creating spaces where families feel seen, supported, and empowered.

My journey is still unfolding.
